About La Clandestine
Timeless Artisan Furniture & Curated Interiors
La Clandestine is a curated interiors house devoted to handcrafted furniture, artisanal décor, and timeless design rooted in ancestral craftsmanship and the French art of living.
Born from a family heritage of furniture makers, the house celebrates natural materials, slow creation, and objects shaped by human hands. Each piece is carefully sourced across continents for its authenticity, story, and ability to bring warmth and harmony into living spaces.
La Clandestine stands at the intersection of elegance and simplicity — where refined design meets raw texture, and tradition meets contemporary living. Our collections are created for interiors that feel lived in, personal, and enduring.
The Founder — Laelany Pasquet
Born in Paris and raised between France, Asia Pacific, and South America, Laelany Pasquet’s vision was shaped by cultures, craftsmanship, and movement.
Immersed in her family’s furniture ateliers from an early age, she developed a deep connection to wood, handmade processes, and the beauty of imperfection.
For over 15 years, she led her family workshop in Cebu, Philippines, producing bespoke furniture for international interior designers and luxury hotels. Working closely with artisans daily, she refined a philosophy of sustainable craftsmanship, timeless design, and respect for tradition.
Today, La Clandestine reflects this journey — a world where materials speak, cultures connect, and interiors are created with intention.
Based in Almancil, Algarve, La Clandestine curates artisan furniture and handcrafted décor for clients worldwide.
